How to Play Triple Cash or Crash, One Step at a Time
A round of Triple Cash or Crash lasts only seconds, and with three astronauts to manage it is easy to lose track of what you are doing. This guide walks through the controls in the order you actually use them, from joining a room to the moment the rocket either explodes or flies off without your money on it. Every rule here comes from Betsoft's own description of the game and independent reviews. Where operators might configure things differently, we say so.
We are an independent site and have no affiliation with Betsoft Gaming or any casino.
Step 1: Open the Game and Join a Game Room
When you load the game you are placed in a Game Room. Betsoft limits each room to 30 players. Once a room is full, a new one becomes available, so you will never be in a crowd larger than that.
The room matters for one reason: everyone inside it shares the same crash point each round. Your rocket is not a private draw. The explosion you see is the explosion every other player in that room sees at the same moment.
Step 2: Learn the Three Seats
The ship carries three astronauts. Each one is a separate bet position. Think of them as seat one, seat two and seat three on the screen.
- You can bet on one, two or all three seats in a round.
- Each seat can hold a different stake.
- Each seat has its own eject control, so you can cash them out at different multipliers.
If you leave a seat empty, nothing happens to it. Only seats with a stake are in play.
Step 3: Set Your Stake in the Control Panel
The Control Panel is where you choose bet levels for each astronaut. One game listing shows a range of 1 to 100 units with the currency left unstated, so check the limits shown at your operator, since the casino sets the currency and can apply its own minimums and maximums.
A practical habit: decide your total stake for the round before thinking about how to split it. Betting the same amount on all three seats triples your exposure compared with playing one seat.
Step 4: Choose Manual or Auto Eject
Before launch you decide how each astronaut will leave the ship.
| Method | How it works | When players use it |
|---|---|---|
| Manual eject | You press the eject button for that astronaut during the climb | When you want full control and can react quickly |
| Auto-Cash Out | You set a target multiplier; the astronaut ejects automatically when it is reached | When you want a fixed plan, or are playing several seats |
You can mix the two. A common setup is auto on one seat at a low target and manual on another. Auto targets remove the temptation to hold on "just a bit longer", which is one of the easiest ways to lose a seat that was already in profit.
Step 5: Launch and Watch the Multiplier
When the round starts the astronauts launch and the multiplier climbs from 1.00x. It keeps rising as long as the ship stays intact. There is no way to know in advance where it will stop, and the climb can end almost immediately.
Step 6: Eject Before the Explosion
For each seat still on board, you have two possible outcomes:
- You eject in time. That seat's stake is multiplied by the multiplier shown at the moment of ejection and credited to you.
- The rocket explodes first. That seat's stake is lost.
Ejecting one astronaut does not affect the others. You can bail out seat one at 1.5x, keep seat two going, and lose seat three if you hesitate too long.
Step 7: Read the Result and Reset
After the explosion, the round ends and the next one opens for betting. This is the point where good habits pay off. Check what you actually staked versus what you got back, not just whether one astronaut made it out. A round where one seat ejects at 2x but the other two crash is a net loss if all three stakes were equal.
A Worked Example
Say you put 1 unit on each astronaut, 3 units in total. You set seat one to auto-eject at 1.5x, plan to eject seat two by hand around 3x, and leave seat three on auto at 10x.
| Crash point | Seat 1 (1.5x) | Seat 2 (about 3x) | Seat 3 (10x) | Returned | Net |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1.20x | lost | lost | lost | 0 | -3 |
| 2.10x | 1.5 | lost | lost | 1.5 | -1.5 |
| 4.00x | 1.5 | 3 | lost | 4.5 | +1.5 |
| 12.00x | 1.5 | 3 | 10 | 14.5 | +11.5 |
The first row is the one people forget. Any crash below your lowest target wipes out every seat at once.
Controls at a Glance
| Control | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Bet level per astronaut | Sets the stake on each of the three seats |
| Eject button | Cashes out one astronaut at the current multiplier |
| Auto-Cash Out | Ejects an astronaut automatically at a preset multiplier |
| Game Room | Shared table of up to 30 players with one crash point |
Rules That Trip Up New Players
- Lag is your problem, not the game's. A slow connection can mean your manual eject lands later than you intended. Auto targets are processed by the game itself.
- Previous rounds do not predict the next one. A run of low crashes does not make a high one "due". Each round is a fresh random draw.
- The game has no bonus round. Despite a few listings that mention free spins, reviewers who played it found none.
- Max win is capped. Betsoft quotes up to 100,000x the maximum bet. Operators can also set their own payout limits, so read the casino's terms.
Before You Play for Money
Try the controls in demo mode first if your operator offers it. Learning how fast the climb moves and how auto-eject behaves costs nothing there.
Responsible Gambling
Every round of Triple Cash or Crash carries a house edge, and learning the controls does not change that. Set a firm budget, never chase losses, and take regular breaks. If you feel you are losing control, reach out to a gambling support service in your country.
